Mumble is an community efford at creating a VoIP solution using an open protocol for everyone, developed by a community of volunteers. It is decentralized, uses transport encryption using TLS and doesnt collect any data.
We do host a restricted Mumble server under mumble://xenofox.nexus. When you join it you will at first have restricted access, but someone will come around and check youre a not an automated bot. If not you might want to come around later/message someone in the restricted channels.
Offical client downloads can be found here: https://www.mumble.info/downloads/
When you first launch Mumble you are asked to setup your audio and getting a client certificate, follow the guide. When done you can follow the Mumble link under Server, if that doesnt work for you, within Mumble you can select the Tab ‘Server’ => ‘Connect’. Click ‘Add server’, fill out the server address with xenofox.nexus, leave the port the default and set your nickname for the server. Note: This nickname will become static after an admin on the server registered you, so choose it with care.
